Ffs have you seen Utd's highlights?

A fired up West Ham in form Jesse Lingard and Cristiano fkin Ronaldo already scoring two goals.

I don't see how Utd won't be challenging Chelsea and Liverpool this year.

Bruno Fernandes, Ronaldo, Lingard (on form), Pogba, Varane etc.

We are light years away from that.

Yeah we are, to be fair they have been building a quality team (the manager is their limitation).

Thing is we’re not even trying, they signed Fernandes a few years back and he made a huge difference, they’re always looking to improve their team, Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo certainly do that.

Meanwhile we focus on kinds and don’t even bring a game changer in despite spending 160 million.

The greeting Ronaldo got just shows how excited the fans are, one guy said he couldn’t sleep the night before.

They sign 1st team starting players, we didn't.

We replaced Bellerin because he left and bought one starting CB player in White to replace our existing CB buy in Saliba who we refuse to use.

We haven't improved our starting midfield, wide or front attacking players from last season.

Getting back to the CL has to be priority #1 and I just dont see Arteta having the ability to get us there in the next 3 years, minimum.

Based on today's performance we shouldn't be anywhere near the CL.

We'd get battered, you have to earn it and we can't even qualify for the EL right now.

Arteta has to sort out our attack pronto.

True, unrealistic for us to sign superstars (we never will IMO anyway), but there are more exciting signings out there we could get that offer something different.

I wouldn’t call any of our signings exciting.

Precisely, which is why being out of Europa is worse than "being able to focus on the league without distractions". We have made SF or the final 3 out of 4 times now. It's clearly not out of our reach, and would attract better players.

The established Top 4 are cementing their status by adding Galacticos left and right. While we're pretending Project Youth II is going to challenge that.

JayRam disagree's with you.

I should know I had that argument with him over multiple pages.

And let's be clear, if Wenger couldn't get Project Youth to work how in blazes does Arteta stand a chance?! I mean, seriously, who is making these freekin decisions?!!

After seeing these new signings more and more the transfer window has to move up to a 9/10.

White, Lokonga, Tomiyasu and Ramsdale all top class.
Tavares looks very promising.
Just waiting on Odegaard to come to life.

It now has to be a 10/10

6 excellent players signed - even Tavares looks class when he comes on. Probably better than Tierney at the moment.

Imagine if we had scored more than a tap in against Norwich and a free kick against Burnley? It would be 20/10.

6 games in

Ramsdale no improvement on Leno
White lol
Tavares and Lokonga barely play

Tomiyasu and odegaard are fine

Think I gave it a 3/10. 5 shit performances and one very good half later, it stays at 3.

We have a keeper and back four that could be a unit for the best part of a decade and having played together a handful of times are already more solid and play more like a unit than any back four we've had since the first time Sol Campbell left. Three of the five were signed this summer.
