He’s made quite a few mistakes in the last 4 games.

The jury is still out on him for me, okish but nothing special.....yet.

Reminds me more of koscielny tbh

Still absolutely not worth anywhere near £50m but he seems to be a competent CB.

I agree that he backs off too much when he should be making a challenge. Demarai Gray had the ball at his feet for ages before taking the shot, yet he wasn't closed down.

That said, he could be very good in a back 3, and where he could play further forward and leverage his passing ability a lot more there.

As it stands, we're looking to waste money on a DM in Jan instead of investing in the attack.

What an insult to Kos, white is slower than a 34 year old Koscielny for starters

White's message to all the morons who were saying pre-match Antonio would bully the shit out of our defence.

That’s classic.
Though he must now know he’s going to have to be on top of his game in the return match against West Ham. :sneaky2:

What I mean when I tell you this guy is average, Kos/Kolo/Sol back in the day would have caught that guy with ease and Per intercepts that pass

Still nothing special, I don't see any reason for the hype. The penalty he gave away was amateur night at the Apollo.

Still a decent CB and no real cause for concern about him at this point.

Actually I think it's Tomiyasu that he misses most.

The back 5 together are a good unit, but when one is missing (other than Tierney because Tavares also creates a good back 5 unit) , it comes apart a bit

The back 5 are more of a 'sum of their parts' defence than individual brilliance.

But remember they are ALL very young.

A versatile player. CB, RB, DM all in one. A good acquisition no doubt.

Makes too many mistakes IMO, still think we overpaid.

If Saliba comes back next season hope we give him a go.
