Congratulations to Benjamin White.
He's having a brilliant season and has handled the pressure of the big transfer very well indeed.

A well deserved call up to the full international level.
Another who has had the chance to shine and push their career to the highest level with Arsenal .

I'm trying to think of an English CB that has actually been better than Ben White so far this season, Maguire absolutely not. Conor Coady has been good, fair play to him, but Ben White has been the stand out. John Stones has been alright but doesn't always play.

White and Coady deserve to be first choice.

Superb again today.
£50m is looking like a major bargain.

30m-35m player IMO. But he's having a good season, yes.

McGuire was £80m hehe
English premium went a bit haywire there.

If you use Maguire as your standard then every player is a bargain. LMAO.

Pretty accurate description, he’s not a worldie like Van Dijk but he does a decent job, certainly not a bargain or anything close.

Brilliant regardless.
What a player and what a signing.

At the least the description of him has moved on from him being a waste of money that Arteta & Edu should have been sacked for.

It's progress. Obviously delivered begrudgingly. But progress nonetheless.

Yup, just like Ramsdale, Benjamin has had the last laugh.

I think most people questioned why we would pay 50 million for a player of his level and experience, that remains the case.

Nah.
He's an absolute class act and has served up yet another dose of humble pie to the doubters.

No he really hasnt, even Reiss rightly acknowledges he’s not worth 50 million.

He’s done a decent job, still prone to mistakes at times and not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he’s done a decent job for his 1st season.

No humble pie anywhere in view right now.
