Who should be in the starting XI?

Postby FloridaGunner87 » Wed Jun 27, 2007 3:31 am

I know it's a bit early to be thinking about the lineup for the first game of the season, but here's who I would like to see (in a 4-4-2): Lehmann, Clichy, Toure, Gallas, Eboue, Walcott, Gilberto, Fabregas, Rosicky, Van Persie, and Tevez (or Anelka, etc.). On the bench I would have Almunia, Hoyte, Denilson, Hleb, and Adebayor. That would be a great lineup, tell me what you think.

I'm sure we'll end up buying some people, but given our current crop, I'd go with:

RvP Adebayor
Rosicky Gilberto Cesc Hleb
CLichy Gallas Toure Eboue

Bench: Walcott Bendtner Diaby Djourou Fabianski

Quite straightforward I suppose. In tougher games, I'd switch to a 4-5-1, with RvP on the left flank and Ade up by himself, and would put Denilson in place of Bendtner on the bench.

GK Lehmann
LB Clichy
CD Kolo
CD Gallas
RB Eboue
ALM Alex(on a gd day)
CMA Cesc
CMD Gilberto
ARM Tom
FOR Robin
STR Adeboyer (needs 2 work on his finishing 2 b ere all the time)

Subs
GK
D Johan/Phillipe (i didn't enjoy watching him last year as like every1)
M Diaby/Denilson
F/S Theo
D Hoyte/Gilbret/Traore(i no he's a bit young but i really rate this guy alot & the rest of them)

Freddie is nt in the subs or first team cos as we all no he's nt as he use 2 b so his form has gone down due 2 injury & age
Nicklas Bendtner i don't no wht he is like as i don't watch Arsenal Reserves play but his form at Arsenal isn't gonna b the same as it was 4 Birmingham i don't think because he was playing at a different level
We've lost alot of strikers during the summer with Henry, Beast, Aliadiere, Lupoli & pos Reyes so all we have left is Robin, Ade, Nic & Theo which is nt gd
So Wenger needs 2 stop crying bout Thierry & get spending on new strikers 2 build along 2 a new team
