i myself was fooled as a kid into thinking glenn helder would be the next big thing...i went out and got helder 32 on the back on my arsenal home shirt. then came along marc overmars...

KANU 25 - after the club replaced by shirt having had HUGHES 23 done, only for him to be sold to Everton.

I like getting old player's nameds on the backs of kits.

You'll see me at the ground with Merson, Jensen or McGoldrick

PARLOUR 15 this year I reckon.

actually...not strictly true. my first arsenal autograph was actualy ian selley's at my sister's school fete!

I trained with Ian Selley when he came down here to play Bournemouth.

I can't remember what side it was for, but they were training over at Kings Park the day before the match. I recognised him straight away, mst have been 13 or so. Just started chanting his name.

The other player's all finished up, he stayed for 15 minutes and had a kick around with us.

haha legendary. thinking about it...why is everyone worried about henry leaving?! we used to have to deal with the like of ian selley, kevin campbell and chris kiwomya in our team!!
