Second we're in no driving seat whatsoever until we score, if they score or if we don't then we're fked so that's hardly a driving seat is it?

It was an easy game.
I said we'd win easily with a 2/10 performance.
Unfortunately, we weren't that good.
But, christ, we were so bad and they only won 2-1 at home!.
They are f***ing useless.

We were given a bye to the final.
It's possible we'll f**k it up, but then it's possible we could lose to a non-league team.

If Arsenal put in a 7/10 performance we win the next game comfortably. If we put in a 6/10 performance we "should" win. If we put in a 5/10 performance its anyone's game.

Villarreal are better than us.

We need to be at our best and them to be off it to win.

Lack of knowledge and respect about la Liga is impressive

I don't know what to expect after the Qtr final.....clearly we didn't come out to play in the first game and then played great.

I just hope we can replicate that!

Without the aid of some powerful ju-ju from Central Africa or Haitian Voodoo magic if not both, Man United are already in the final of the Europa League, no ifs, buts or maybe's bar the said mystical interventions.

Man City are also deservedly in the Champions League final.

For the first time ever, especially since my first born was lured over to the dark side of the force, I will be favouring a Chelsea win tonight. Excuse me for a few minutes while I just go wash my mouth out with soap.

The reasoning behind my almost treacherous admission is one borne of a belief in irony, fate and strange quirks.

The final two places in european club football will feature 2 rival London teams versus 2 rival Spanish teams.

Chelsea overcoming Real Madrid would put us on the motivating cusp of an all English final for both competitions.

The two biggest London clubs versus the two big Manchester teams.

Both finals would feature a club that had won both of these finals before against ones that hadn't won either.

Following on from the long drawn out tedium that was Brexit, England would rule Europe like squatters in a pub and Angela Merkel and Co. would be spitting feathers for weeks. 2 Spanish managers, 1 German and the other being Norwegian would be like rubbing salt, vinegar, lemon juice and tobasco sauce into the wound.

Clutching at straws a bit, maybe, but a faint whiff of desperation, nah, I'm putting that one squarely on the dog!

Hope not, don’t think we’ll get the option to go anyway but don’t want to travel 20+ hours to get spanked again :crybaby:

Yup, I fully expect us to win because we are by far the better team.
It's possible we could lose, as in any game, but it will take a shocking performance to lose.
I am confident of us beating most any European team - probably only 4 or 5 I would be worried about.

We will only win if we have a positive frame of mind and score a quick goal. Like Newcastle.

Considering how bad we can be, like Jayram, I too expect us to beat most teams in Europe. Yes we have come a cropper to teams we really should not have trouble with but by and large its only the big clubs we should have problems with.

I would have less confidence if this was the Prem.
