That strike yesterday was incredible !! To be moving backwards and calmly place it in the corner like he did was nothing else but pure technique !!!!

The strike yesterday would make any top level striker proud. The way he caressed the ball and stroke with assurance was amazing.
Because of Rice's two veritable bombs, this strike has taken a backseat, but both the pass by MLS and then the final execution by Merino is an absolute thing of beauty.

His finishing is getting better and better. Even in that triple save from Courtois, he was in the right spot to score.

Yeah, his ability to strike the ball cleanly surprised me. Not only a big strong guy to head the ball, isn't he?

Apparently we could go into next season with Merino , Havertz and Jesus as the strikers

Summer priority for a transfer has taken a back season following the strong performances of Merino

We will sign Sesko or Gyokeres, guaranteed. Kaisus will still be here as they won't have any takers.

Don't.

Imagine if that ball was played into Kai over Merino against Real.

We'd of left that game 2-0 not 3-0.

Some of us actually gave Havertz a chance but sorry, he's been out gunned by a CM, I'm done with Kai, back up CF at the very best.

All respect to Merino, he's doing a tremendous job considering the circumstances he's been put in.

Kai still clears him at CF, sorry. You say we'd have left 2-0. I say, maybe we'd have left 5-0, with Kai scoring and assisting another, and his movement/pressing opening up an opportunity for Trossard to get one.

Havertz scored 24 goals in the last 12 months for us before his injury (Feb 24 to Feb 25). Have some respect.

Its interesting, 6 goals and an assist in 9 games at CF, thats pretty bloody fantastic, small sample size though. 4 Prem goals in 6 games, on target for 25 Prem goals in a season.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Think you've forgotten his usual out put.

Setup 2 goals with great passes in Madrid tonight. The perfect false 9 for me
