When we we’re winning stuff we had ambitious people at the club, that ambition disappeared when the Kroenke’s started to gain control.
Agreed the major difference in all of this is that we used to be run by people steeped in football or at the least understood we are a sports club and are supposed to compete.
Stan is a very different animal, he bought us purely to make money, he was sold the idea that AFC is in the top 4 practically automatically and that means guaranteed profits, why do you think he's getting upset and threatening to withold transfer funds every window, because when Wenger fked off his model for how this club operates went up in smoke.
He has a very different attitude toward the LA Rams, a sport he actually likes and is active in the running of the franchise ......... he doesn't even like "soccor".
Yes we need a new owner, someone who wants AFC to be a pinnacle football club, just like Newcastles owners, or Abramovich was etc.
