Purely so as to get a clearer indication of the all round defensive capabilities of our primary center back pairing, I hope that the set up is not accordingly adjusted as a contingency in combating the arial and physical presence posed by Mitrovic to have one of them designated to man mark him, as opposed to whichever one dealing with him ad hoc with no special dispensation needed to address the threat that the big Serbian possess, beyond good preparation and communication.

On the deck they have both removed the need for any reasonable concern regards ever being made to look as though running in quicksand, but this is easily the biggest test to date of their ability in the air with an accomplished finisher.

We are lucky we play a cb as a rb, white can play there and rotate with Tomi and Saliba can fill his boots, i do think we need a back up LCB though.

White on the right and zinchenko on the left actually does us a favor. It means Xhaka can be more advanced, because the aforementioned two can tuck into central midfield. Also it allows the wide players to interchange with Jesus without worrying about leaving a hole behind them.

Honestly Gabriel worries me at times. Lapses of concentration far too often. I don't think his English is strong enough yet either - seems like there are sometimes break downs in communication.
