Lol, interesting analysis there. However, many of those losses were due to our poor goal scoring.

Here's a harebrained theory: I think our defensive woes are more of a psychological problem than anything else. When we batter sides, but keep missing chances, they think 'hmmm... we can get something out of this'. Back in our unbeaten season, we not only scored frequently, but conceded the least goals in the league. Fear in the opposition is a great defender, and we've lost that a bit.

With the class defenders we have we should NOT be conceding so many goals.

I Partially Agree we weren't scoring particularly well through that period but to conceed 9 Goals in 10 games thats bad, Very Bad

They are interesting stats.
I agree with Rv in the fact that alot of it could well be psychological.
But to conceed teh 9 goal in 10 fixtures as Piston says, it cant be just down to the keeper.

i think he is very good versatile player and the last thing we need is to get rid of experienced defenders! however, i am yet to be convinced that he is an ideal partner for kolo, but he's the best option we have right now.

fabregas also gave a similar interview, but i dont see anyone complaining about that?! i have not got a problem with either of them, someone certainly needs to try and get a sense of urgency or authority back in the side.

TBH i think Cesc had more 'right' to say it than Gallas, seeing as he has been playing the whole season, where as Gallas has only played a handful of games.

agreed, but i dont think he said anything out of order and it at least it shows he's got balls. everyone seems to think we've gone soft these days and tbh fabregas & gallas are about the only 2 that would give them reason to think otherwise.
