Has anyone ever prayed for a second wave of a virus as much as Arsenal fans have?

To be fair apparently Bayern lost 5-2 in a post covid friendly and they have been killing it in competitive games since then so lets not panic yet.

It truly is a glorified training session.
Yes but the difference is that bayern was already killing it before covid and lost the friendly and then continued destroying the league.

Whereas we were shit all season, and are still shit even versus brentford

Bayern didn't have one of the worst managers in their history start the season, then a clueless caretaker manager ..... all preceded by a complete fuckwit of a manager presiding over things in the years leading up to it.

Yeah comparing us to Bayern was a weird one.

When it's a sign that nothing has improved when you are trying different stuff out, think it's fair to say when the real games come around, it won't improve then either.

Having now viewed the highlights of the Brentford game, I think that Boris Johnson should award a special commendation to the arsenal defence for their impeccable adherence to the 2M social distancing rule. You see Messer's Grealish and Walker, that's the way you self isolate.
