All 3 Brentford goals came from Arsenal losing possession in their own half. Luiz, Lacazette and Niles the culripts

Reiss Nelson apparently taken off with an injury

Dear god. A week to go before the city game. Slaughter incoming.

Has anyone ever prayed for a second wave of a virus as much as Arsenal fans have?

If there was ever a group of players and a culture at a club that would fully embrace and love the chance to not play football due to a virus, it's Arsenal FC.
I am sure they've enjoyed every minute of doing nothing.
Not sure we have many players who will be eager to get back.

To be fair apparently Bayern lost 5-2 in a post covid friendly and they have been killing it in competitive games since then so lets not panic yet.

It truly is a glorified training session.

Just a friendly to iron out problems and try few new things. Better play w/o caution and gay abandon in these games to find out the potential. Non issue really.

2019/20 Prem Leag- Emery 2 clean sheets, Arteta 5.

In fact in 1.5 seasons Emery got 11 clean sheets in the Prem, Arteta is almost halfway to that total in 15 games

Anyone that takes friendly results seriously is crackers. You have no idea what the manager might be trying out. Friendlies are there to practice and get rid of ring rust.

First 2 goals were completely avoidable, 3rd goal was a worldie nobody would've stopped. Zero creativity from midfield again. At this point, we should just bring Cazorla back. A 35yo who was at risk of being crippled for life 2 years ago can do better than our useless midfield.

But thats the point of the friendlies though, to get match fit and ready for the season to restart. Its obvious players will make mistakes.
