Still hold out some hope he will come good (maybe under a new manager) as we know what he's capable of but was poor tonight all be it massively outnumbered in midfield by our formation.

Keown ripping him lol

Wanted Aouar all along, think together they could be great and hopefully Partey is better once settled, but we prioritised the wrong one.

Poor poor performance. But it's difficult to name a player that played well today.

Dreadful yet again, he is like an amateur player. He has been awful in many games to be honest but people just don't want to say it, constantly giving the ball away, and his shots? OMG I have never seen a pro footballer shoot like, row Z does it no justice!!

I am praying he comes good

He was good at Madrid, I don't know whats happened. Maybe our club is cursed

Prime Arsenal Coquelin > Partey at Arsenal so far

Coquelin is a good player tbf. Should never have sold him and kept the likes of Xhaka.

Our fans are idiots Coquelin was quality, he only looked bad alongside Xhaka which is no surprise as Ceballos and Partey do also.

I loved Coquelin. He did drop off after that 18 months of wonder football but he’s no worse than what we have now...100m later

You could probably bring back Santi and Coq next season and it wouldn't be a worse midfield than what we got right now.

The fact that he was sold when Emery was manager and Emery bought him for Villarreal, really shows what little transfer power he had during his time here at Arsenal.

He's half a yard short both physically and mentally ... fine in a tier two league but not good enough for the EPL or later stages of the cups. Goes to show what a big step up it is playing in the EPL.

I became very worried in the Villa game when the likes of John McGinn were running rings round him and just leaving him for dead so easily.. looks so slow and clumsy on the ball too... but I thought he might just be settling in, but he has in fact got worse the more games he has played.

Something seriously wrong with him. There is no hint of an Atletico player here. He should have been an Alexis type signing, a proven player that excels with or without The Process(TM).
