Arsenal reveal a £27.1m LOSS in their accounts

Josh Kroenke: At the time, director Josh Kroenke said: 'It's no secret that we have a Champions League wage bill on a Europa League budget right now.

'That's a fact. And one that we're figuring out how to face internally at the moment

Let that sink in guys. Consistently going down and falling further behind, getting less and less money in, havent been in CL for few years now and it looks unlikely they will be back for a while. Now next season even Erupa looks unlikely and who knows if trying to qualfying to Europa will be a normal goal for the future. The wheels are falling behind and we seen with Liverpool once you fall way behind it can take many many years to get back.

Only have themselves to blame so fk them.

If you leave a team to stagnate for so long what do you expect, nothing worse than sh*t management of an organisation, because they sink everyone along with them.

I'm noticing not just in football but in business, the rich and idle are a lot to blame, just because you have money (from other ventures) doesn't mean you know football.

Too much time enjoying their money to have any urgency or graft.

Let the youth take over, Saka, Martinelli etc no point having Auba, Ozil, Lacazette, Pepe when only Auba is producing end product that is actually winning games.

For e.g Martinelli is as good if not better than Pepe .......... one cost £6m the other £70m.

I like Pepe but the money vs value / performance speaks for itself.

We could of bought 5 Martinelli's for £70m.

Well....

This is not a surprise.

We have been a daycare center for overpaid, overrated soft divas for too long.

Next season a strict clearout is needed. Go again with our young stars and fresh players with genuine ambition.

No surprises, a club terribly neglected by its owners, it’s finally hitting them in the pocket, share price will probably plummet too.

They won’t do anything about this though, it just means we’ll see Auba and keep most of the money and buy some cheap guy, we’ll also keep hold of average players like Xhaka and Mustafi and make them they an integral part of the team (Arteta already has).

Just don’t see how we can come back from this, on the whole our scouting is dreadfully inadequate, we need to be as good as Dortmund unfortunately we’re on the other side of the scale.

This club really has fallen for grace.

Don’t hold your breath, we’re a disaster zone in then transfer market and out of our young players we’ll be lucky if one cut it.

Played a financial game for years, and lost.

If theyed focussed on winning football matches we wouldn't be in this situation. Fools.

They had a lot in credit which kept us a float with steady and slow decline. Now we have used that credit it will go downhill very very quick. In next 2 years I wouldn’t be surprised if we are the West Ham of the PL. the club has been badly run for years and we have so many players on bad contracts. I remember when this happened first thing that happened was every player started to look after their own interest with their agents insisting we have contracts. We ain’t walking out on good contract to get lesser money. Other clubs knew the trouble they were in and lowballed them and it became a vicious circle of losing best players, getting little money for them and losing commercial deals. I still don’t think most of our fans understand the danger we are in

No problem they just sell Auba and they're quids in .... think it through :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

Losing money hurts the club not the Kroenke's ... they only lose if we go bust, do you want that?

They’d sell him anyway. No ultimately it hurts them. We have no chance while they are around. The worse things get for them the better.

Best model in any sport is winning.

When we had the best side in europe, we sold our best assets (people) who got us there,
We were sold an absolute farce of an idea in selling the best players in the world because of age.
If you win you produce fans, ask yourselves how many of you are fans because of Arsenals success, how many kids are wanting a pool shirt atm everybody on the playground wants to be a pool player it equates to sales, supporters rarely change once grasped,
We had the best side on the planet we only lost to Barca because the big german got sent off in the CL final, what we got was a walk up the garden path where a board sold its assets and invested in a new ground and a flawed plan to develop youth end of story
