Looked as solid as anyone else. Number of times we fartarse about with it at the back makes me nervous anyway but he seemed pretty assured.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

As good as he has been so far, I still maintain that we need to see him tested against quality attacking opposition to gauge his actual level.

Anyways he should stay in the side even though Gabriel is back, we need to start rewarding good form and show no one is undroppable, stick with Holding/Luiz and Mari for now in the league.

I have seen enough from him to feel he can offer us something, certainly think a regular place in the squad would be a good thing.

LMAO wrote:Always a sensitive topic to lose your place due to inability to play, but Mari has been playing very well, and it'd be a shame to drop him once Gabriel is back. Gabriel, as good as he's been for us, should be looking over his shoulder and not get complacent. Though, this is a good problem to have. In this rebuild, we need everyone to know their place isn't guaranteed, so perform every week or next man up.

Like any player, they need a run in the side to build confidence and fitness....he’s looking good considering the above.

Yeah. Copa Libertadores. Which is quite amazing because we know how pacey and agile those South American forwards are.
