5M Euros apparently. About the best we could have hoped for with Edu negotiating.

Loan with buy obligation IF Monza (who?) stay in Serie A.

They won't and we will pay him to leave next summer

After he sold AC Milan, Berlusconi bought AC Monza—another Lombardy-based club.

Serie A watchers think that Monza have made some good additions this season and should stay up. Most of them expect a lower mid-table finish.

Monza's squad value is estimated at around €100m, which ranks as the 13th most-valuable squad in the Serie A. For reference: the squads of Cremonese, Salernitana, and Lecce are valued at roughly €50m.

No guarantees, of course. Squad value isn't only influenced by quality but also by player age and squad size, but it does give you a general idea of where a team should finish with the players it has at its disposal.

We are talking about a £1m -3m fee conditional on survival. Just send him there and terminate his contract if he comes back in a year.

It has an obligation to buy if they stay in Serie A.

Damn, that’s awful. I hope they’re all ok in the end. Wonder who did it. Bitter fan, random nutter, Islamist. Who the hell knows these days.

A 46-year-old suspect has been detained. The motive for the attack is not yet clear.

The attacker has had mental health problems, the reports in Italian media say.

Definitely not Islamist then
