It might come down to us needing to beat them at home to preserve our own record.

God help us

How depressing is it that that's the only thing we have to play for this season

If Arteta can end their hopes of an unbeaten season, he'll be a legend.

Europa league
Fa cup
4th

4th is not an achievement so let's forget about that, would rather win the EL and get a trophy and earn a CL spot that way, since when did coming 4th in sport warrant any celebration.

Since millions of dollars of TV money became involved. It's a very important place to finish in for obvious reasons. Doesn't mean you celebrate it like a trophy, but lets not pretend it isn't important. Look at how we have fallen without a CL spot.

The funny thing is when Wenger said top-4 was a trophy, you had pundits and media ostracize him. But right now, they behave like it's a trophy and almost every team would take 4th spot over the cups and actually preferred 4th place over the EL until the new UCL rule was established.

That was the mistake, Wenger should never have said 4th place is like a trophy - because its not. It is, however, a very valid and important goal to aim for.

When people say they'd rather finish fourth than win the Europa. That's what I find funny.

I'd rather not be in it at all.

If we can't be in the CL, I'd rather we be in the Europa and win it. Our European record is pathetic. We won't be winning the CL any time soon. Couple of Europas would look nice

The league is more important to me.

We have no chance of winning the league at all if we are playing in the EL.

Yes and he was wrong
It's a path into the champions league not a trophy
You can win cups as well

We all Mourinho and Tottenham fans tomorrow?

How ironic would it be if they were the only ones to step up and save the record. Would be hilarious, really. I hope they do it (and then lose every remaining game of the season).

Then he comes home and takes his rightful place.

And leads us to glory years never seen before at this club.

Liverpool will beat our unbeaten record. Symbolically, it will be a significant moment in our history. The Invincibles are the only claim we have to being a big club. Once that is gone, we are no longer a big club.
