United and wolves may have ashot to beatem. But i doubt it. Half the overhyped epl teams go in to the pool game bent over.

But..... but..... but.....

But nothing.

Oh, i don't think it's going to happen. I just think we're at the point where it's worth discussing. Again, they only had one loss last season. All they need to do is match that form and avoid that one slip up.

Its not worth discussing

You realise they gave us a golden trophy right?

That was for a reason. Ask a bookie the difference in the odds on them losing none and losing at least one, then you'll see

And Liverpool will get a golden trophy if they go unbeaten?

Not sure what your point is.

The point very obviously is that they gave a golden trophy because it was truly extraordinary

But Liverpool would get the same, in fact if they carry on winning they'll probably get a platinum one as they are literally winning every match. We had a great team and what we achieved was amazing, but what Liverpool are doing right now is unreal, winning all their matches and winning all of footballs biggest prizes at the same time.

Yes, it's under threat until Liverpool loses. Remember, they weren't Invincibles (and PL champs) by only 1.1 cm last season. But 18 games in, they're the best PL team ever at this stage.

Will they go undefeated? I don't know, but I'd bet the Field.

I have my mind set that Liverpool have won the league with year. I just hope they lose once. I won't be able to put up with the fans if they are unbeaten all season.

We play them in the third last game of the season.

It might come down to us needing to beat them at home to preserve our own record.

God help us

Last minute winner for us would be hilarious though. Almost want them to remain unbeaten until then just for it to happen lol

Not quite Anfield 89 but still would be quality

How depressing is it that that's the only thing we have to play for this season

If Arteta can end their hopes of an unbeaten season, he'll be a legend.

We could still win the FA cup, EU league and top 4 still up for grabs! Plenty to cheer for.

Records are made to be broken.....we can’t hang onto past glories forever, we should use the dominance as a spur to catch them up and beat them. In the meantime, I think it’s a breath of fresh air blowing through the prem, that has seen a Club that has not been given unlimited funds, to blow away those that have!

And none of it would be taking place if Barca hadn't spunked €140m on Coutinho. That transfer changed their fortunes. They had one world class player in Coutinho before. Since, they have 5 world class players. They ended up buying van dijk, Keita, Allison, and Fabinho. Salah's purchase was also because Coutinho wanted to leave. Salah, Mane, Firmino, Allison, and van Dijk. Jesus Christ. That's City-esque: Ederson, Silva, KdB, Aguero, and Sterling. Perhaps better on an individual basis...

To think about Barca have to be our ultimate continental nemesis. That tragic UCL Final loss followed by the ridiculous van Persie red when we were leading on aggregate at Camp Nou, to being arbitrary contributors to their winning streak right now.

Our hopes are pinned on Spurs, City, and this Arsenal side to stop them from being Invincibles. They have ManU and Chelsea at home, but I doubt they'd beat them although I wouldn't put it past ManU. They usually bring their A-game against 'Pool.

Jose to beat 'Pool and become a Gunners icon? :smartass:

If they do it, they'll deserve it.
I have no trouble admitting that they're amazing, and it's a joy to watch them.
I don't think they're Invincibles level (yet), but they're not very far.
Klopp is awesome.

I think they are better than the invincibles, not entertaining wise but they are a machine like side, they got that German efficiency.
