thebigbangtheo wrote:^ This lad has definitely got his head screwed on right. The club's marketing consultant is missing a trick here in not having him depicted as turning up at the Emirates on a Harley Davidson Fat Boy wearing black leather jeans, jacket and boots along with black sunglasses and a single red contact lens, to the sound track of The Terminator or Bad to the Bone. The fan base would go crazy for his merchandise and posters showing that. A cleverly and tastefully done one depicting the naked bar scene would probably swell the number of female fans a thousand fold alone.

He seems to be very focused.
Of course the final media as they always do will try to unsettle any of our players that do well.
It is a sure sign we’re on the up when we keep seeing stories of our players wanted by other clubs.
I will let the marketing team know about your idea. :arse fan:

We will see if his tone changes if we don't get in the CL. His focus NOW is the UCL race, his focus might very well be I need UCL football come the end of the season and we don't get it!!

Excellent player who can be part of the leadership core.

Barca are looking to cover their asses because Eric Garcia sucks

Don’t care if he does.
Any player wanting to leave should be sold. Immediately.
We replace and move on.
I rather think he’s happy though, just like all the other players the media are desperate to unsettle at our club.

If we sell him we'll regret it imo

Agree
But I doubt we will.
We need to keep all the young players together for 3 years.
That is our biggest risk for the future.

Arsenal are considering selling Brazilian centre-back Gabriel, 24, with Juventus interested. (Tuttosport - in Italian)

Garbage rumours, no way we sell him unless the bid is something like 80m. As bad as he's been at times recently, I doubt we find a replacement of his quality very easily.

Been more than solid since joining, the odd wobble and dip in form isn't gonna suddenly make us sell him.

Yeah and the fee we paid for him was a bargain
