He’s our best CB, hope he doesn’t leave, scores goals and has something about him.

Shame he was very suspect defensively - where is actually matters !!

This focus on the offensive side of defenders annoys me, defenders are there to defend first, everything else is a bonus.

Gabriel was not helped by having Tavares next to him for 1/3 of the season.

Can't ignore the trash midfield either.

Mate, he had good first half of the season and a very poor second half

Almost the whole team did.

We were a real unit in the first half. Looked real solid, even later on in the season in our games against City and Pool, and some ground out 10 man victories.

The team defending as a whole suffered when there was so much chopping and changing with the midfield. Remove Partey and the whole team suffers defensively.

They know their roles, they press and defend as a team now, better than we've ever seen... when they're at the best though, and with particular personnel. But the fullback issues and Partey's absence destroyed that chemistry. Can't single out the CBs when the whole team dipped.

Inter have proposed a swap deal to Arsenal that would see Gabriel Magalhaes and Stefan de Vrij change places, reports Calciomercatoweb.

Serie A giants would also part with a fee to get a deal done, but the Gunners are reluctant to part with a Brazilian star that has impressed alongside Ben White in England.

Gabriel follows in Bobby Holding's footsteps -

More importantly, his English seems to have improved.

If we are willing to pay 40 mil for Lisandro Martinez, a left footed CB, it can only mean one thing.
