Oh true forgot the third goal as I'd basically stopped watching, that was his fault and poor.

Second goal I put all on Cedric, he bottled a challenge and they broke from there. Been good recently but that was very bad.

Was pretty good until the first goal. midfield failure put too much pressure on him. Salah had direct runs at him.

We should be thankful Lille gave us this one cheap, probably felt sorry for us after pulling our trousers down with Pepe

Although 100M combined for the two of them is robbery no matter which way you try and split it

One of our better players again, rarely looked troubled tonight and bailed out holding a couple of times, he is one of the players we currently have that looks like he could play for someone better.

Looks lost without Luiz next to him and ends up having to do too much, usually Luiz takes control and does most of the passing, I’d give Chambers a go next to Gabriel for now while Luiz is out, if not put Mari back in alongside Holding they seemed to do well together

That penalty right there is one of the reasons Mari is a better LCB, he wouldn’t be swinging his leg out like that getting drawn into leminas tricks, not saying it’s Gabriel’s entire fault as Xhaka got caught out which didn’t help

I like Gabriel but he still has a lot to learn and that aggression of his isn’t always so good

Never said he was bad just that some of you were getting carried away early on saying he’s the best, Luiz is still clear but Mari is also good, Holding should be playing for a lower level BPL team, Chambers is a solid squad option and versatile, Gabriel is still raw and has lots to learn need a leader type alongside him, either Luiz or a new experienced centre back

A class above Mari and holding, should start on Thursday, imo should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Mari did just fine tbh, I don’t care if they’re both left footed...the two of them should’ve played.

And what difference would a centre back have made in today’s 0-0 draw lol
