Guy tested positive for Covid recently, he gets a pass from me. Massively improved our defense this year, he's due a bad game here and there.

Exactly, first game back, he was or best defender all year, let him get a couple of games first before we judge.

My biggest criticism of him is that he is too rash, too keen to get to the ball. Hopefully he will learn the art of when to try to win it and when to jockey, quickly.

Cedric let him down with the pass but Gabriel should be sliding in on Traore worth the risk of a yellow and free kick

Has taken a turn for the worst imo.

He looked pretty solid before his injury.Looks wobbly and nervy now.

Not sure what's happened ?

Still our best defender by a mile, absolutely nothing he could have done for any of the goals.

His winning goal was the proverbial cherry topping the cake given his performance announced that at last he'd shaken off the dibilitating after effects of covid-19 and the Gabriel of autumn 2020 had finally re-emerged in 2021.

That said, it's also the basis of why I'm inclined to think that he has the greater capacity to replace David Luiz and allow us to try our two best centre backs together and forge a partnership with Mari.
