Edu and Mikel cut a suave look. Too bad the third guy in the equation looks like Danny Devito.

"We tried to create a better balance in the squad but we know that takes time to balance the squad the way me and Mikel want to. To balance properly, we need to sell players, to buy players and that takes time, not just day and night.

"It will take time but with Willian, we've started a big process. We've identified the needs in the squad and he's the one to start to rebalance the squad as we want to.

The good thing is it seems like Arteta and Edu are on the same page.

That's all well and good but the problem is Kroenke isn't ...............

Their ideas are being cut down at the wallet, I think we need the Coutinho deal, that's the only chance I see of us bringing anything close to a big talent signing.

Then we have a CDM, CM and CB to bring in which we'll have to do a lot of selling first get those.

I think the Coutinho deal will dictate what happens to Mikhi. If it falls through , Mikhi will be back and Arteta will use him as he has planned for Coutinho. If the deal goes through, Mikhi gets sold to Roma.

Please no Coutinho. It will turn into another Ozil situation where we are paying a player big money to contribute 10 goals a season.
all of my posts are my own opinion

Coutinho is 28, not over the hill yet. He didn't fit into either Barca or Bayern system, both w/ many superstars. But in Arsenal, he might find his groove, when allowed to operate the way he likes.

Coutinho would be a loan ................

We'd only have him for 1 year so it won't be like the Ozil issue, we won't be stuck with him.

Well, if Ozil is not ever coming back, we badly need a #10. Even if Ozil does resurrect himself for one more year, there is no way he will be staying longer, so maybe a couple of years of Coutinho would be ok. Not a fan of year long loans though, but if we do one then better to be an older experienced player than just being used to develop players for the likes of Real Madrid.

My childhood friend absolutely hated Edu on a personal level. We used to have heated debates and Edu was the person I always used to bring up to wind him up. Maybe he say this crock for what he was long time ago. Sleazy playboy
