Your statement doesn't reference any of the factors beyond a family connection that defines nepotism, so effectively it only hints at it.

Would it be a conflict of interest, maybe? Seems like he moved here after Edu got his job which is fine by me. I guess it's the next stage when it comes to contract talks and if we keep him on.

At the point of Edu having any direct involvement with his son's arsenal career measured against the best interests of the club then yes, a conflict of interest would arise.

For nepotism to have occurred, then unwarranted benefits and privileges governed by Edu or at the very least him exerting his influence over others to ensure favourable outcomes, must take place.

Who cares if Edu's son is in our youth setup ffs? Pires came back to train with us after his Villarreal deal ended, should we not allow that since he wasn't playing for us at the time? Beckham trained with us for a bit as well and then we had his kid on the books. Zidane's kids play for Real Madrid youth. You think Cazorla's kids won't be offered chances by Villarreal or Arsenal before any other clubs? Messi's kid won't sign for Barcelona?

They all got or will get a chance based on name and what they or their parents have done before, Edu and his kid are no different, the man is an invincible. If his kid turns out good enough then he'll join the first team, if not he won't.

It happens all over from Sunday league to top level football, what issue are we trying to make out of thin air?

Not worried about favouritism in a team where the manager doesn't use academy players. This guy probably won't even be here when he reaches 18.

"Arsenal U18" isn't the CV builder it once was.

Bit of a stretch to define Bellerin and several others as academy players as of Dec 2019. The rest haven't been seen in ages.

All came out of Arsenal academy
It wasn’t this nonsense about hating youth
It was talking about our academy
Saka and Smith Rowe played last night

Accto the Guardian, we're looking to hire a new bunch of scouts for our scouting department.

Didn't this clown fire most of our scouts—during the first lockdown—because he wanted to rely more on StatDNA?

What are we doing? How could a club as big as Arsenal entrust its main responsibilities on two incompetent rookies without checks and balances?

Just wow.
