You just have to see that interview of Snaheli and Vinai to know we are doomed.

I think it's happening, I just don't think it be as quickly as some on here want it to be. It's going to be a long process, could take 2 to 3 managers and lot of players going in and out before we get back up to been a top club again.

I do think the days of big name signings and fan's wanting big money spent are gone for the foreseeable future, Going to be a lot of youth players been bought through the ranks, signing of youth talent with potential, and reliable experienced PL proven players. AJAX model basically.

It's going to be years to fix the mess left by the past manager, Gazidis and their cronies.

That was the most pathetic soft in house interview I ever seen and they fumbled it. Anyone with sense could see they had no clear plans on areas they wanted to strengthen and you can see even by late June they have brought no one in. If they had things ready for next season why are they scrambling? And before anyone says well others teams havent done much......no club is in more mess than us not only in players, but wages and finance. Hence the job is much bigger here compared to spurs or Liverpool. Also you could see vinai is not a football man at all

More to the point nobody should care how other clubs are progressing in the window, they should care about Arsenal only.

They looked like smug coonts to me. Guys who are not seasoned football pros and are just happy to get the big jobs at a big club.

The interview was proper generic, corporate stuff. I wouldn't read much into it.

It was just an extension of Gazidis' focused on success mantra.

And that’s the concern.

Not everyone is as whimsical as Jurgen Klopp and as condescending as Jose Mourinho.

We also are a much younger team compared to last year, aren't we?

Departures:
Cech (37)
Lichsteiner (35)
Koscielny (34)
Monreal (33)
Ramsey (28)
Welbeck (28)
Jenkinson (27)
Iwobi (23)
El Neny (27) - almost done

average age =30.2 years

Our new recruitments:
Martinez (27) - back from loan
Luiz (32)
Tierney (22)
Chambers (24) - back from loan
Willock (20) - promoted to first team
Ceballos (22)
Pepe (24)
Martinelli (18)
Nelson (19) - back from loan
Smith-Rowe (19) - back from loan

average age = 22.7 years

I really like the new transfer strategy. With some exceptions we've done really good business

Nothing would please me more than seeing that smug c*** Josh Kroenke spend 200 mil and not make Europe. Sad thing is it’s probably a rounding error on his bank balance.
