Not surprised. It was inevitable the moment Arteta came in. I wish he stayed for one more season. But footballers are ambitious, especially a club legend and an Invincible that our Freddie will forever be. It's his club.

All the best to him.

Good luck to Freddie. He and Arteta don;t seem well suited to work together so he's probably better off moving on. Hope he gets another job in football.

You have a proclivity to make everything that happens at Arsenal about Arteta—even when there is no evidence to support that notion.

It's been known for years that Freddie is pursuing a career as first team coach and it's no real surprise he's been linked with several Scandinavian clubs in recent weeks.

It is more than likely that a coach leaving the club is about Arteta.
What's the issue? I am not even saying Arteta is somehow in the wrong.
I just think he and Freddie are totally different characters and don't seem well suited to working with each other.

Freddie has never hid his ambition to blaze his own path and become a manager. Now is the right time

Ornstein reports Arteta is also trying to bring in new members of staff, which makes sense given theres anout 4 coaches atm lol

Good luck to him. Was never going to be an assistant here long-term.

Will he be replaced or is this more streamlining of the backroom staff?

Freddie has said he wants to be a manager so his departure has nothing to do with cuts/ streamlining. It looks like he'll be replaced.

Thanks for the opportunity to sing your song a few more times and best of luck wherever you go Freddie. Would love to see him back here in the dugout one day.
