Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on appealing Saliba's red card: "I leave that one to the club to understand the circumstances. The examples that are very clear in the same position and they will have to decide."

I don't like how Arteta's trying to create political hay from all these red cards, trying to drum up 'controversy' about ref decisions. Saliba is the last man, it's an obvious red card. Player made a mistake, move on.

Spot on. Saliba made a mistake it happens, but there’s no doubt it was a mistake and a red.

If other red cards were not given for the same crime they are not going to undo a slam dunk red card, they will just say the other incidents should have been red cards.

No way Saliba's red gets overturned!

If the stadium update rumors are true, I can see Saliba going in the summer and probably Saka the year after

Yep, my big fear if we don’t win anything this year. And even if we do, players might start feeling that Arteta has too much power, another rumour I’ve been hearing following the Edu departure

Saliba would likely go to RM or Paris. But where would Saka go? Would he go abroad?

William Saliba is ready to commit his long-term future to Arsenal despite the 23-year France centre-back being Real Madrid's number one transfer target. (The Sun)
