Does not seem like we are paying "so much" now. Details on the installment payments are not out yet.
I am okay if it is 5 to 8 million euros now. Besides if Aston Villa can do deals totaling 100 million or so (if papers are to be believed), this deal with Saliba should have little or no impact on Almighty Arsenal's transfer budget.

Still raises the question of where we will get CBs. Imagine an injury to Sokratis and Holding having a nightmarish start after been out for long... these Arsenal nightmares write themselves.

Hes going to take 5 pictures in his Adidas and be forgotten about for a year.

This isnt even a signing we should be concerned about right now.

Let's think about next year after we get through this year.

CL has to be the priority and saliba isnt helping us get back in it for at least 2-3 years.

He defo isn't helping us this year.

Mo Bouhafsi is basically the French Ornstein when it comes to reliability. You can bet this deal is finalised and an official announcement on Arsenal.com is forthcoming.

I dont think our management sees our cb position as a weak spot

Rediculous to spend a big portion of our budget on a cb we will not be using this season

yep, we are only paying a small deposit since the guy is going back on loan for the year. So hardly denting our budget, but i just hope this kid lives up to the hype with that much money being spent. Oh well, we'll see next year.

2 things;

1) our budget is not 45m, anyone who still believes this has lost the plot.
2) we will be paying the majority of the Saliba fee next season when we get him.

1) it might not be 45 but it isnt much higher since we are scraping for loan deala

2) we need a cb NOW
