Sampaoli quits marseille because of their inability to secure Saliba.

Wow - I thought you were being mischievous ..... but you are not !!!

We paid £27.5m for an 18 year old that a manager said was not good enough so sent him out on loan :BangHead:

Hahhahaa guendouzi

The big loser in all of it, masterstroke from Mikel. Reminiscent of the Wenger 4d chess days.

Sampaoli has always been a highly temperamental character. But he’s a great coach. Will get snapped up by some European side as soon as their existing manager stumbles. Would love to see him in England.

How is he the big loser ?

Moved to Marseille where he's a key figure. Has become a French international ahead of the World Cup. Will be playing in the Champions League.

Not surprised, he's a bit of a hothead. Understandable though, even Stevie Wonder can see how crucial Saliba has been towards getting Marseille 2nd.

Don’t think it’s just Saliba. They seem to have missed a number of their targets.

Uhhh cos the manager who was playing him and trusting him just walked out the door?

Be hilarious if he ends up warming the bench

Wishing he fails because he fell out with Arteta? Classy.

No because he’s a petulant prick who goes round boasting about his wages on the pitch :rofll:

Unlike you, my brain has capacity for something outside of our current manager. You should try it.

I don't get your level of hatred toward him just because he boasted to another player that he has more money.

a) He was and still is a kid

b) Players say much worse to other players as part of football, some do it to throw you off your game, others do it because you are annoying them. In cricket they call it sledging.

Are you telling me you have never boasted to someone you didn't like, to make them feel/look small ?!

Staying, thank god. Edu skipped his daily huff of BBQ smoke and rejected their £25m offer
