Remember when the argument people made for Saliba not playing was that if he starts to make mistakes when fans are back in the stadium they would get on his back immediately ?!!!
Well ..... another poor argument obliterated already.
the whole oxygen around the club should be one of support Be it in the stadium on forums or on a phone in
and the criticism should be reasoned and come with a heavy heart
exacto.
so many RELISH in the criticism with snarky arrogance.
i mean. where's the LOVE?
what you describe above is how we treat our loved ones. we Goons are supposed to love our club.
sure. its been tough to see the squad packed full of midtable players, but we seem to be making an upsurge.
When I say things like this it sounds OTT but I mean it.....
To be an Arsenal fan is to carry the weight of all that have come before us on our shoulders.
Fans who never got to see Arsenal win the European Cup, or Champions League as it now is. I hope to be there when it happens to help represent all those people.
Other fans who died young and maybe never saw a single trophy brought home.
Fans who could never afford a ticket
Players who started this club from scratch and fought for the sheer hell of it to build it up
It's not about joy, honestly, it's about responsibility. As an Arsenal fan, I hope to be proud more than I hope to be happy.
That's why although praise is important, and enjoying the moment is important, striving for better and demanding better is more important. It is our responsibility.
