William Saliba (on loan - Saint-Étienne)

Postby Sims » Sun May 19, 2019 10:10 am

Following Kike Marin’s post about Hermoso, he’s seemed to confirm that the CB were after us 18 year old William Saliba

Became a starter in March for Saint-Ettienne, coincided with them winning 8 of their last 11 after previously winning 2 of 11

Apparently he’s really good - if he is then this is the type of signing we should be making

Viewed as the next Varane for what it's worth.

Browsing on some saint ettienne forums

They think he’s gonna be a top 5 in the world cb and are disappointed that he could be going to Arsenal - they think he can do better

But it seems they are resigned to losing him

Rumours his agent is in Manchester. I think we'll regret it if we don't sign this guy.
