Protect this guy at all costs. Can’t be picking up these needless injuries. His game is all about pace and hustle which he won’t have if he’s constantly battling fitness. Wrap him up.

I think still pressing is more useful as at CF, also his heading ability is underrated.

Gordon Bennit wrote:Didn't Aliadiere lose pace and therefore effectiveness in the same way? Question as I don't know. Just want to see this guy get a good run, not fall down in tears and show what he can really do, instead of us and him being robbed of it like Diaby, Rosicky and Van Persie (although the latter signed for Utd a second before the dint from his arse vanished from the treatment room).

I believe martinelli is better than alliadiare ever was
They had lost about the same amount of time to injury by the time they had reached the minutes that martinelli has now
Alliadiare was nearly 24 which makes a nonsense of people saying youth doesn’t get a chance now
Alliadiare had 9 goals 1 assist
Martinelli has 10 goals and 5 assists

I’m worried that if he doesn’t get a goal soon his confidence will start to go, made a lot of good runs today which no one picked out and his pressing is good as always.

That one chance from the set piece was unfortunate it’s not something that’s easy to try on your weaker foot, players hit that on their stronger foot and still miss.

Would have taken Eddie off and played him cf but I understand why he went off still recovering from a long injury

Seems to be too fragile for the EPL. Hope I'm wrong. Great tragedy otherwise.

It's not just the sub. Every rough contact or fall and he looks like he's injured.
I'm just worried. I love the kid. One of the brightest young talents on the planet right now.

Willian over Martinelli is among the worst descisions I have seen at Arsenal.
