I hope Martinelli doesn’t push for a move, Arteta will be gone if he's patient enough

I would imagine his father and agent are already talking to clubs.
Damage is done.

Arteta's hitlist:

Saliba - ruined
Guendouzi - ruined
Ozil - gone
Martinelli - ruined

He's now onto Auba.

Meanwhile, Xhaka and Willian are in his good books.

If we don't sell him, I hope he goes out on loan in the summer at the very least. Leeds would be ideal. But then again, I think Leeds would be an ideal destination for all three—Martinelli, Guendouzi, and Saliba. :P

The Bielsa factor.

Not fussed he's not on the bench today. Would have been scapegoated for anything negative even if he did start.

How do you figure that? Everybody is rooting for him.

This and Willian are the big questionable moments for me. It's not like Saliba, we've seen this guy play and do well...even saving Mikel's job over Christmas as mentioned above....baffling. You'd think Mikel would love how he changed our fortunes and give him every game to show his quality.

Yep don't understand this one at all.

He's miles better than Willian and has proven that each time he's played.

No matter what you think of Arteta I don't think we can deny some of his player management is pretty shocking

Some reports saying Arteta sees him as a striker and as such he's not going to get ahead of Auba & Laca.

Still seems strange to completely freeze him out when you consider how poor Willian and to some extent Pepe have been.

Disciplinary issues. He left the seat down in the toilet and Arteta’s just not having it.

This is practically unforgivable for me.

Gabs is wasting his best developmental years on the bench, not even getting minutes.

Really strange, he's up there with Saka and ESR in terms of talent.

There was some news a while ago that suggested Martinelli disagreed on his best position - Martinelli sees himself as best on the left.
Whatever has happened, Arteta has ruined the kids season and probably his Arsenal career.

It's weird.

Most people here are rooting for him, but Gooners seem to sway in heards. You will find people calling Willian a success here, some folks, when he's someone we should have never signed. Likewise, Xhaka can be a walking disaster but if he has a decent game, some folks act like he's indespensible.

With Martinelli, the longer he goes without action, people will start buying into the narrative. And, when he does get his chance, I don't expect him to hit the form he was under Emery.

It's become a facile situation.

If he can't get 20-30 mins off the bench, something is alarmingly wrong in the way we function. Releasing Willian wouldn't have any impact, but if we offload Martinelli, we'd be losing out on a talented youngster, whilst having derailed his growth.

After the incidents with Ozil, Saliba, and Guendouzi, I'm skeptical.

Who has labelled Willian a success?
