Wow I did not even notice how much the ref got in the way of his run just before the red on Gabriel. Why the f**k was the ref running into the box like that?¿

Me neither just watched it again that certainly was a factor, probably the difference between Martinelli scoring and not hitting the post

That was really dumb refereeing, but let’s not forget this ref is so bad he once gave a goal when a shot had gone wide and out of a corner. Wouldn’t change his mind either and instead booked those who tried to tell him he’d made an absolute howler.

I guess these days he runs into the box like a striker just to make sure he can see the difference between a ball actually going in the net and out for a corner.

I can understand constructive criticism , but this isn't the case with some.
This is an Arsenal forum but lately
this looks like an open forum as we see in DM, Sun, BBC, etc.
We don't want trolls or Spuds or other club followers and in extreme cases mental patients to infiltrate here and dilute the whole purpose of having an Arsenal centric ( wellbeing) discussion.

Are you serioulsly saying that nobody can crticise Arsenal?

Yup, this should be a utopia of Arsenal, or a dictatorship where dissent is ruthlessly crushed, according to some.

^kind of reaction that is just silly.

There is a major difference between criticism and negativity on certain areas, but 100% negativity over and over again (some of it outrageous) is either designed to wind up Arsenal fans or is some form of cathartic exercise. If it is a cathartic exercise for those people , they should seek help from a shrink.

This isn’t the first time Klopp has praised him, we should be worried really as Martinelli is out of contract in 2024, within that time Mane, Salah and Firminho will all be over 30 and no doubt Martinelli will be on the list on replacements

At the end of the season we need to renew his contract, no messing about 6 year deal, and a high buy out clause of 200M to make sure we don’t get f****d over on a future sale

Any player that want to leave can leave.
So what?
New players come through.

This guy impresses everytime he plays, he’s just so busy and always trying to make things happen.

The only guy to come out with any credit from yesterday.

It’s ironic that Arteta seems to rate him the least of all the young players, he’s found it hard to get fame time.

IMO he’s the best of the young players.

Play him up front if we fail to sign a new striker this window.
