I do too.
His attitude seems right.

ESR does exactly what we want Odegaard to do but better.

We should play ESR through the middle, Saka on one side and Martinelli on the other.

This is why I never wanted odegaard here. He is not good enough for the level we should be striving for. Such a waste of resources.

This we could have spent the money on another CF/Winger and let ESR do his thing in the middle

The question was did he celebrate it.

Go watch the tape and you'll see exactly as I described.

I did see it. And to be fair he seemed to heave a sigh of relief. Probably didn’t celebrate out of anxiety.

Anxiety?

We were 1-0 up lol.

He celebrated Saka's goal easy enough.

Problem is fitting in ESR, Saka and Gabi but at the moment I’d almost drop Saka for Martinelli.

Could also drop Odeshit and put ESR in the middle so Saka can go back to the left I guess.

If Arteta doesn't want to play him then he can leave.

He will want to leave if he doesn't get more minutes. I should think a few good clubs are watching him and the situation.

Martinelli has to start, he is so direct and positive, breaking through lines and taking 3 and 4 players out of the game!

He's got to finish more consistently - very good chance created for him last night that he scuffed.
The directness and work rate is excellent and he got an assist with some good work, but he needs to take good chances.. not occasionally, but regularly.

Yep. ESR has a 10 on his back. He has a great understanding with Saka. See if he can form a great partnership with others around him.

We've all said it, give the boy game time, he has proven he is more than capable at this level. No idea why Arteta is dicking around with him.

Hearing that Martinelli was brought off with an injury - did not realise that - and could be out of all the Christmas period games… back next year.
