Laca or Odsonne GOAT in between them for the next few years plz.

Yes, please.
But, they are more than our future.
Both Saka and Martinelli must start now.
None of this 'development' BS. They are both better than the alternatives now.

I guess he improved this week to warrant a start.

Nope. He’s direct, fast, the point and shoot type. Nothing like van Persie.

Theo was all about pace. Martinelli has so much more.

Yep, not much like RVP.
Absolutely nothing at all like Theo , either.

He's a player that is strong in many areas required for a forward.
Pace, strength, work rate, intelligence, running off the ball, heading, directness when it's called for.
He has some areas to improve.
1) his passing is not quite there yet - he often chooses the right option, which is more than half the battle, but execution needs improvement
2) his finishing still requires some work, which may come with confidence and regular game time.
3) someone needs to take him to one side and tell him to stop acting like he is hurt more than he really is when he gets a knock. It will only invite more opponents to go in hard on him to knock him off his game.

He's the brightest talent we have had at the club for some time and is already the best option we have for the left-hand side of the attack. I suspect he may move to CF at some point over the next couple for years.

I think Arteta folded to peer pressure by playing him against Sheff Utd.
It remains to be seen if he is allowed to keep his place, which he certainly should.

Overall I don't think he is like any ex-player.
