Could have been magnitudes worse.
I dont understand people wanting easy draws
A lot of strong team are left in the competition and all of the touted favorites drew a team they should be beating.
Napoli, Chelsea, Sevilla, Benfica Inter and Valencia all have relatively generoous draws, including us.
I'm not suggesting all of them will progress per definition but it's clear that most of them will, meaning it's only a matter of time before we end up facing one of them.
And then again in the semis and/or final should we manage to make it that far.
What's certain is that we will not be getting the Anderlecht-Sociedad-Ajax anomaly cakewalk United got a few years ago.
Frankfurt is the dark horse in this competition no really outstanding player but a good team. They will beat Inter.
Yes considering the fact that Frankfürt are a team full of consistent steady-eddies and Inter are erratic, I wouldn't be at all surprised.
Salzburg are a super solid team as well and had a strong case for being dark horses until they drew Napoli today.
I still wouldn't rule Salzburg out completely, but Napoli are favorites to win the competition imo.

I want to face the big ones every round because i want to enjoy football as much as possible.Zenith wrote:Dejan wrote:Dont you want entertaining matches against decent opposition?BexleyGooner wrote:Very happy with that draw.

Its obvious, innit. We stand a better chance of getting to the next round, playing mediocre teams. Lets face it, we scraped past Bate, so the worse the oppo the better currently!

Apparently this has caused a lot of outrage among our fans.
Don't mind this at all tbh.
Get at least one away goal and finish the tie on our own turf.
