Emery is Raul's man. Of course they are hand in glove. Let's see how it goes the next few months.
All depends on how we fare in the big games like Sunday's. It'll come down to motivating the boys; we do have a decent squad now, with the only exception of Xakha ( substandard), right back pos ( Bellerin, out) Leno ( mediocre for AFC) .
Rest is up to Emery to guide properly.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery will head into the summer transfer window with a budget of as little as £45m, but has been told he can reinvest a significant amount of any money raised from player sales. [@SamiMokbel81_DM] #afc

Arsenal will look to sell Mesut Özil & Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a bid to reduce their wage bill & will also listen to offers for Carl Jenkinson & Mohamed Elneny while David Ospina & Calum Chambers are likely to be sold once they return from their loan spells. [@SamiMokbel81_DM] #afc

Arsenal will also look to offload defender Shkodran Mustafi & have been open to selling him for the last two summers but have struggled to find a buyer, with that unlikely to change this summer. [@SamiMokbel81_DM] #afc

So we will lose Ramsey and sell Ozil? I doubt we would get anyone of their talent. No chance we get any Ozil-tier player.

So, what exactly are we planning to achieve next season? Compete for 6th place trophy?

Our potential line-up next season, the Sanllehi Years:

Leno
Bellerín - Sokratis - Koscielny - Kolasinac
Torriera - Xhaka
WF - Mkhi - Auba
Lacazette

Subs: Ospina, Niles, Holding, Monreal, Guendouzi, Nelson, Nketiah

What will £45m get in the transfer market? That's the thing, isn't it? If there's no money to spend, we shouldn't expect money to be spent.

How reliable is the source. I'd take anything right now as a grain of salt about Arsenal transfer budget.

The uproar the fan's will have if make top 4 and win EL on top of that, and we're seen spending like we're a mid table club. The club might get away with it if we finish outside the top 4 and not win EL. It's going to be a interesting summer that's for sure.

Leno + Torreira = £47m
Sokratis + Guendouzi = £25m

It can be done with smart buys. Not to mention we will be freeing up more cash once Ramsey, Ozil, Welbeck, Jenkinson, Lichtsteiner and Mustafi are sold/released. I have a feeling Mikhytaryan will stay on for one more season as we only have 3 other first team midfielders once the above players leave.

We will go for a mix of experience and youth again. People expecting another Ozil or Sanchez level transfer should block this site until Sept 1. We are in the same boat as Benitez at Newcastle. The war chest is £50m + player sales.

Mislintat.

Be interesting to see Sanllehi's work in the summer.

I don't think Mislintat is the only person that can find decent players at good prices, other clubs can do it, we used to do it before Mislintat, we can do it again.

Ornstein: £40 million budget if EL. Significantly higher if CL.

We have to win this final at all costs. An extra £60 million before player sales is vital.

I'm telling you if that is the budget, I expect a lot of protests from the fan's to start happening sooner then later. Things could turn nasty.
We're supposed to a big club but we act so small time it's not even funny.

I would love to see the PR try to spin this into a positive for fans. Especially if that lot win the CL (god I hate even saying it), and we're penny pinching during the summer even the money for CL isn't enough. The board need to spend big to show we mean business. We can forget competing with the likes of City, Liverpool, UTD, Chelsea and even The Scum. We be locked into a battle with Wolves, Leicester and Everton soon enough.

I hope the Ornstein is just waffling and board have big things planned. If it's true, they are going to find themselves in a fan with the fans.

Would be a masterstroke if we had shitloads to spend but put out rumours it was only 40m and got players relatively cheaply.
