Havertz has one good game lets not go overboard.

Think he's had a few TBH - some as a sub where he's made a difference.
Certainly looking better in the final 3rd.

Chelsea , City and Brentford he was very good when he came on.
Against Lens he was really good from the start.

9 Trossard again, because he’s better than Jesus at getting into scoring positions and staying more central

LW would be Martinelli but it has to be said he has 1 goal in 12 games this season which isn’t good enough, so Trossard maybe should get a chance

Havertz has scored 3 games in a row, how can you say he's not even in the conversation?

Where I feel Trossard is a winger that for me naturally puts Havertz ahead in the no8, he's more competing with ESR and Vieira.

Because he’s had 20 odd games doing nothing and has only actually played well in one, the other two games he was nothing special IMO.

But also I said that when he’d scored in 2.

Nevertheless I think people are getting carried away, the opposition has been very weak and he did score some goals for Chelsea as well, but ultimately he wasn’t good enough.

I’m not sure why he should be considered when he’s been so poor for us since he arrived.

Played much better against Luton for sure but still missed a chance he should have scored. Also would say all 3 of his goals have been nothing that special, all close in on goal and two of them a bit scrappy.

I think he’ll need to do a lot more of what he did against Luton before he comes into the equation IMO.

Needs to step up his game.
Form over the past few weeks has been very poor and again tonight.
Looks like he is lacking in confidence so hopefully he can score/assist on Boxing Day.
We'll need him to impact from the bench in the second half of the season and for rotation.

Yes, expected bit more from him. Intensity was missing.

He could score a Hat trick and he wouldn't start next game.
He actually had better movement than Eddie and Jesus today.
Nellie should have stayed on at least he got into areas of attack although duffed his lines, half the time Jesus was strolling on halfway or rolling around.Eddie is now doing the same.
Should have brought trossard on upfront or in behind Nellie and move havertz upfront

When Martinelli and Trossard have played together they have worked well.

Martinelli and Trossard won't team up often. There are specialists in other positions. They will be mostly either or.

He was very poor today and has been in the last few games.
In a bad run of form as happens to all players at times.
Hopefully he snaps out of it soon

I agree, he brings the much-needed drive/energy when he is playing, Jesus has his moments but they are becoming less and less and Eddie Meh.

Not his best game for sure but he is still a better option than Eddie

Trossard was the worst player on the pitch for both sides tonight.

To be fair he is absolutely appalling as an 8 so hard for him.
We were basically playing with 10 men.

Havertz far far better , and I think we should have started ESR.
