He's too good to be an "off the bench" player. BUt then if he drops stinkers like he did on Saturday, then that's where he'd remain. He's not doing himself any favours.

He had a bad day - it happens.

Once you are down to 10 men, it's extremely hard for forward players to hold the ball up and link because doubling up and pressuring will be much easier for the defenders.

that wasn't the first time. He has done that often when starting, and it's a shame. He is arguably our best player, certainly best finisher.

He's neither our best player or best finisher - though he is the best finisher amongst the forwards.
He's a very good player though and everyone has bad days.

Well Jay said Trossard isn't our best finisher so I was asking who is - genuine question, not setting anyone up ;)

I believe he is our best finisher. I cannot think of anybody better. Havertz, Saka, Odegaard, and Martinelli aren't better than him.

And yes, he is a top player, but he's inconsistent as f**k. It's not just an off day, he's been inconsistent for a while.

Dropped next game, not one of Arteta favorites and will be dropped because of his back pass to saliba,

The game is tomorrow,so, unlikely that they have announced the team now.
Don't think we can afford to drop anyone, considering how short handed we are.
He either starts or comes in as an impact sub most often and considered almost indispensable.
People make mistakes and good management is to remind them of their responsibilities but instill confidence in them.
Think he'll again play a major role tomorrow and will amend his mistake; will probably end up scoring the winner. Happens often w/ Trossard.

Good follow up and added a little emphasis to a very good result.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name
