That is how Liverpool attack......
Not playing sideways, backwards till there's nothing but a parked bus.

I can't tell you how much I dislike Arteta for turning is into a bunch of halfwits on the pitch !!
Its so bloody obvious how we should be playing, its so obvious what suits our players, but Arteta's arrogance is more important.

I was thinking about it yesterday, because we've been playing this way for ages as Arsenal managers like to copy Peps Barcelona team of tika taka and they used to play 4-3-3.
........however, I then remembered, the reason it worked for Barcelona to retain possession and carve teams up, is because they had Ronaldinho and Messi as WF's and far superior midfielders offensively!!
It's also why Saka is the only one who looks good on our team because he has the ball to feet skills to be cornered and take on 2 players and still get something out of it.......barely any players can do that these days.
In a way him being out the team is a good thing as it highlights that issue, we can't build a team around 1 player ffs.

I was ready tear the Kraken a new one with miss fires, but yes the one he finally put away was a good finish.
We badly need help in the finishing depth a striker who does not shit himself on the site of goal would go along way.

Just read an article where Trossard states he would prefer Saka to Bregkamp in attack.
One thing the guy never played with Bergkamp, and had he been around the way he plays he would have been on boot duty.
