At Dortmund Auba scored 115 with 27 assist as a central striker from 147 games.

For us, he's scored 40 goals goals with 10 assist as a central striker.

The only reason he's playing as a winger here is because we have Lacazette.

Some seriously laughable claims here. Wenger got a hundred goals out of Walcott and turned Sanchez and RVP into the leagues most feared players. Ox and Welbeck were crap to begin with.

Once Wenger found that Theo was far better as an inside forward than a winger we began to get the best from him. But lets not kid ourselves that he was a quality player.

Maybe not quality like van Persie, but he was effective. In RVPs prime season I'd love to see how many assists came from Theo cutting back.

Seriously laughable claims ?
How good would have sanchez and RVP could have been taking away the tippy tappy, AW eventual style cost Arsenal titles full stop

Not really.
Comparing the two players - I give Walcott the win quite easily.

Walcott had 19 goals in all comps in his last full season with us, 16/17. Pepe's got a ways to go yet.

Pepe is hopelessly one footed, physically weak, needs yards of space to run into, not a great passer nor great at linking up. What makes people think he’s going to get better?

Doing ok in his 1st season with 3 different managers, will have to be judged next season, the talent is def there.

He contributed to a total of 21 goals that season, but he contributed to 9 the season after that. Pepe has so far contributed to 14 goals, in one of the worst seasons I can remember. Not bad, considering its his first season and there are still plenty of games to go.

But that’s just it. At 70 mil he’s expected to be a premier league elite player instantly. Not bad doesn’t cut it at this price. Someone seriously fvcked up.

No, YOU expect him to be a Premier elite player immediately, which is not being very realistic

I thought we swindled Liverpool getting 40 mil for Ox. But boy did Lille do a number on us. 70 mil and he’s “gaining confidence”? Yowzers.
