6 goals and 7 assists.

Brilliant numbers so far in a debut season punctuated with one of the worst first halves to a season we have had in the Premier League era that I can remember. He has had to deal with incompetent managers and being stop start with game time.

True. Hope Arteta plays him more although could be wise to take him out of the limelight for a bit and ease him back in

Another game, another assist.

Seems to be getting acclimated nicely now.

True.
What I noticed is that he keeps it simple and it seems to be helping him to take the right decisions.

Yup, you can see Arteta's influence. He helped Sterling, and now he's helping Pepe.

Just wish he had any kind of right foot. He’s very predictable but at least it’s still working for now.

I agree. I noted that as well. I felt he was trying skill moves way too much earlier on. I like his game much better right now.

He played pretty badly today and was very lethargic when defending. Nice assist but was poor otherwise.

2019-20 goal contributions (all competitions)

    Pépé
1 goal contribution every 121 minutes

    Auba
1 goal contribution every 125 minutes

And still some of the resident experts insist he's another Gervinho.

Wouldn't it be every 132.5 minutes (6 goals & 8 assists in 1,855 minutes)? Did you use WhoScored? Because they didn't include the FA Cup (or League Cup, but that's not relevant in Pepe's case) like transfermarkt.

For further context to peeps, Gervinho contributed to a goal every 169 minutes (11 goals & 12 assists in 3,888 minutes) during his time here.

NGL - whilst I habitually use Transfermarkt, this time I simply parroted the numbers from a post I had seen on Reddit. If we do the math, it does indeed look like that particular poster used WhoScored.

That aside, our point still stands tall.

The same zaha that's been awful this season?

Anyway turned on the match when pepe was twisting and turning 400 times midway through the second half and not shooting for some reason.

Downhill from there
