Man's going to be elite next season with Arteta at the helm and now that he's had some time to adapt.

For him to really excel next season I think we need to play a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 specifically with a midfielder who’s got vision with the RB overlapping and I think we’ll see the best of him

I'd agree with that, more importantly, I think that's always been Arteta's intention anyway and the 3-4-3 formation was just a logical temporary fix tactic in addressing our midfield and defensive deficiencies.

I still advocate that with Torreira available, him behind Xhaka and Ceballos for all the away games in a 3-5-2 with Lacca and Auba together as a pair would have seen wins against Brighton, Villa and Spurs at the least.

In the Cup Final Pepe was direct. It was very different to the way he has played through the season, playing it back into the midfield all too often. He was being too safe. I'd like him to just go for it - no problem with him losing the ball if it doesn't work out. I'd also like to see him use his pace more making runs inside the full back. He needs to be prepared to do it, even if he only gets the ball 1 in 10 times. Finally, he has a top class shot. Shoot MORE for goodness sake.

He's not had a great year, but saw enough in the last few games and some flashes through the season to give some hope, if he would just play with no fear.

He’s been a lot closer to the striker in the last few games and as a result looked more dangerous

He shouldn’t be getting chalk on his boots, he should be close to Auba

Which is what’s been happening with Laca dropping deep with Auba & Pepe taking positions more centrally and closer to goal

Have a lot of faith in him next season

He had a good game for sure and the goalscoring talent is there. I still think he's a bit clumsy with his dribbling, so I hope can improve on that.

Yes, 8 goals and 8(?) assists isn't bad at all in a turbulent first season. He has a good eye for the goal too. If his strike against Chelski had stood , it would have been sensational.

I think that disallowed goal (and one nutmeg against Alonso) was a big turning point. Chelsea looked rattled after that.

The club is investigating itself for this deal? Or maybe investigating raul if anything shady happened in this deal?

Gnabry and Pepe are the same age and we let gnabry go for 5mill a few years back the way I see it is if Gnabry was still here that’s 72M which could be spent on another position or two.
