Spot on. I like Auba, but he needs feeding an we just have no ability to do it, tho the Pepe thru ball was decent.

We have one decent Cb and he isnt even in the team yet...

our overall team speed, outside Martinell, Auba, Tierney and Pepe is shocking MLS shite.

granted, an iwobi like scuffmasta shot right at the GK also stank to the heavens

Bellerin was shit but we did end up having a couple of chances from him down that right side still.

He had a lot of energy when he came on, but the same issues I have with him are still there, his final finish is not good enough, and thats why he has scored zero goals in normal open play, he rushes his shot too much and is over-thinking it

bellerins issue is his defending - or lack of it. He's fairly good going forward at pace.

As poor as he's been we need to persist with him.

We need him to get into form and he's not going to do that on the bench, if its between him or Saka I'm going with Pepe every time, he wasn't too far off from scoring a goal, a bit of match fitness and he might of.

It’s not between him and saka.

It’s ozil vs Pepe vs martinelli vs saka. So you guys all pick one and tell me who should be starting bwcause Right now it seems you lot want 3 of those 4 starting which isn’t possible.

Could’ve bought Zaha. But no, we had to make it difficult.

Saka has mostly been poor, no way he should be starting ahead of Pepe, not on your Van Nelly mate.

Saka has been better than Pepe, though.
So why would he not be ahead of him in terms of selection?
I have more optimism for Saka. He's much younger. Pepe is past his footballing youth. He's 24. He's as good as he is going to get.

He hasn't. What are you basing that on? He has one assist in the Prem.

Saka has shown more of a willingness to go at the FB. Looks more dangerous than Pepe. He's also much younger. Better prospect.

Jay I can't agree with this at all, Pepe looks far more of a threat than Saka, he is twinkle toes, he will come good.

But but but he needs games to be confident and not shit

Apparently so.
:dontknow:

I think he is being defending mainly due to some fans being in shock and not being able to accept that a £72m player can be so bad.

Well of course we are defending him considering his cost!! You don't spend £72m on a player and abandon him after 10 games in a new league!!

I think Pepe looks the most hungry and lively out there. Yea he hasn't done much, but neither has anyone else. I still think he's our best option out wide.

Martinelli looks the most hungry, he should start against West Ham. Pepe can sit on the bench.

Also, it's perfectly possible to bring on both Martinelli and Pépé against Norwich.

Especially if you consider Lacazette hasn't scored against a non-relegated side away from home in the league in two-and-a-half years.

No drama at all. Just an observation.

Lacazette scored at Newcastle in April 2018
At man city in November 2017
And at Everton in October 2017 mate
