Walcott had little ball skills but was lightening fast, he was frustrating to watch at times but not as frustrating as the tika taka tactics of the manager who had easily the fastest front line in football but no clue as to how to utilise them,

Pepe will come good, great dead ball delivery dangerous at set pieces, just need a manager to sort the turmoil and Emery is not that man,
Got to feel sorry for Pepe and the other youngsters trying to work into the team, worse possible timing with a clue less manager
No man management
No set formation
No tactical solution
No clue

Yep - one of the highest goalscorers in our clubs history - think he's 15th all time.
He was at times frustrating - tripping over the ball, but actually less than Pepe does.

Pepe was abysmal yesterday. He's been that way all season except for one game where he scored two world class free kicks. Even then, the rest of his short appearance that night was poor.

He's shown nothing to suggest he's anything more than a corner taker and free kick taker. We may as well have brought Beckham out of retirement - would have been much cheaper.

As it stands, we bought a lemon.

He will

Mbappé scores 13 league goals under Emery

A new man comes in and he bagged 33 the following season

We have to look at the overall picture.

Goals

Auba - 9
Martinelli- 7
Willock - 4
Pepe - 3
Torriera - 2
Luiz - 2
Lacazette - 2
Ceballos- 1

Assists
Pepe - 4
Saka - 4
Guendouzi - 3
Chambers - 3
Ceballos - 2
AMN - 2
Nelson - 2
Tierney - 2

The team is struggling on a whole to score goals and create. Pepe is the least of our worries.

He needs to improve in open play quite frankly, his dead ball delivery is elite but I want to see that translating to the rest of open play.

Admittedly, all Laca, Auba and Pepe have looked pretty crap last few games and maybe that's because of the turmoil in the team, midfield in specific.

Formation switches every game, personnel switching to whoever is flavour of the month.

Emery is unsettling the team trying to cover up his mistakes in judgement.

Yes its true Pepe has not looked anything like 72 million, however this stupid manager is to blame for a lot of it too, Pepe is in and out, sometimes starts, sometimes sub, sometimes doesn't even play at all. Also the whole tactics and mentality is wrong, the poor guy probably doesn't know whether he is coming or going and probably secretly wishes he could turn back the clock and never come.

As useless as we've come to expect from him when he came on tonight.
Sell in January and sucker some other mugs into believing it's just because he couldn't settle in England that we are selling him.

Unai has one of the best attacking 3 in football and he can’t score goals. Says everything you need to know

This is the fraud that told us he wanted to playe attacking football. To take risks. He’d rather win 4-3 than 1-0.

Emery clearly doesn't think Pepe is good enough, the real test was today because it was a must win and Emery knew that if we lose the pressure will be huge on him and it could cost him his job, and yet he doesn't play Pepe and only brings him on very late when the game is lost, he clearly doesn't rate him at all.. its beyond obvious to me now.

A game where he would have been deadly on the counter. One of our most creative players and the manager benches hin for what? Bellerin was poor on attack and defence and Aubameyang was having to do too much work down that side from deep. That game would have suited Pepe more and the manager should have just stuck to a 4-2-3-1.
