Arthur C Clark's 2001 - A Space Odessy '... something beautiful is about to happen..'

Now that Pepe will for the first time in his arsenal career have a right back as his wing man who possess a natural, effective defensive bent to his game, which will encourage the Ivorian to naturally express himself offensively without fear of his lesser focus on defending, being likely to result in harmful counter attacks and attempts on our goal.

With ESR out today, I suspect he will start... So time for him to show his end of season form.

So frustrating to watch. Awful touches, dribbles himself into defenders all day long. He's trying, but it's not enough.

Pépé did have a 3-4 questionable first touches, but he also looked lively and made things happen.

He's mercurial. He's probably the only player we have who's capable of inventing something out of nothing.

He was never world class. He doesn't have that in him. When we signed him, I warned people about that. We won't get consistency from him. But he is more than capable of ingenious moments.

Can't deny that he keeps managing to get into good spaces to place a pass or shoot. Ball control lets him down though.
