Again another player like partey who I think would be totally different under a better manager.

people are just tryna will this guy into something decent.

its time to face it, hes a 20 mil player at best.

we got conned and thats the end of it.

best we just take the loss and move him on.

Freddie was a stop gap but under arteta and Emery the whole team have looked poor, I don't believe all our team can be as poor as they have looked under both managers, look how poor partey looked tonight against Villarreal for example, dude has been playing champions League football and bossing midfields against the likes of Barca and Madrid in La liga, I'm not having it that he's come to arsenal and left his ability in Madrid. Pepe ruined PSG when he was in France but has been largely average here give or take glimpses of talent, I have heard that arteta is constantly telling players where to run, how to play and they have no freedom on the pitch, maybe this is hindering certain players.

Lacazette, Aubameyang and Ramsey were all quality under Emery

Then we got to see the new talents such as Martinelli, Saka and ESR so I dunno what you’re on about, maybe you’re confusing emery’s time here for mikels

Emery was manager during Pepe's first season and we did see glimpses of what he could do, we were hoping he would push on this season but under arteta everyone had regressed, there is not 1 player who has had a good season, I'm assuming most people rate saka and I do myself but he's been garbage for weeks too, aubas had the worst season of his career, every player we have looks like they should be playing for west brom. I'm not saying Pepe would be the next Messi under a new manager but I'm saying it would be interesting to see how he would fair now in a team that is playing well, knows what they are doing and is well managed, I do think he would be a different prospect and an asset to us.
If we are writing Pepe off I think on the same principle pretty much 99% of our squad should be written off including the likes of Partey, saka, Smith Rowe etc who have again showed glimpses of talent but have much like tonight been largely garbage.
