Even though he scored today, dont forget auba was invisible for a looong time.

I rather have them 2 upfront, somehow.

auba was basically up front anyway, his starting position is meaningless and is game is still the same pretty much

Yeah but Emery isn't changing his formation, so the best thing for Auba is to play as a LWF.

He was invisible first half as was Ozil but that's because Ozil should of been in the middle building play, Ozil can get the forwards into the game, Xhaka doesn't do it well enough or can do the 1-2's give and go the way Ozil will.

Both should be first name on the team sheet whenever fit.

It's definitely not a bad idea.

Lacazette plays quite well as a central striker working in those tight spaces.

Aubameyang is much more suited to a role where he can run on goal from further out. He can comfortably do that on the left hand side.

I think people get obsessed with formations when in reality we played a modified 4-4-2 against Cardiff.

2 up top is the way forward, we must play Laca and Auba together, anything else is foolishness.

today's guardian has an article about what we've been wanting to see...

https://www.theguardian.com/football/wh ... aubameyang

in it is this gem

"Despite the best efforts of Petr Cech between the sticks, Arsenal came away from Cardiff with a 3-2 victory." :rofll: :rofll:
