Play him in 4-4-2 formation alongside Luiz, Elneny and Willian to form the most hairiest midfield in EPL ever.

Guendouzi transfer request

Matteo Guendouzi has now requested a transfer from Arsenal.

That's according to L'Equipe, who say Guendouzi has submitted a formal transfer request.

Mikel Arteta has now been keen on the midfielder's attuitute since taking over, and an exit always looked likely in this window if Arsenal could find the right buyer.

I think a loan out could make sense at this point to hopefully increase his market value, if he had a good season.
Can't see us getting more than 20m for him now, which is way too little, if we look at his potential.

I respect him, he wants out and is not willing to play games with the club. All that nonsense about Arteta saying its a new start was to save face and make other clubs think he has future here. We dont want him to stay and he dont want to stay.

Liverpool getting £19m + £5m for some kid who's never played for them. This guy has played 2 seasons and appeared in an EL final and we'll sell for under £10m, guaranteed.

Liverpool have decent negotiators with common sense though.

Palace have already come out and rubbished the supposed bid for Brewster.

U17 england world cup winner who had a season in the championship...guendouzzi is a cocky frenchman with bad attitude. No one wants him. Also you are worth what someone is willing pay for you. We paid 72 million for pepe and 35 for mustafi. Does that mean players of that level are worth that as standard or did we make a bad deal? Liverpool gor 15 million for Ibe and he couldnt get in the Bournemouth team. clubs make mistakes

We should sell him but the club seriously needs to work out its recruitment and exit strategy.

Guendouzi was all set to leave. Then, we heard about him getting a second chance. Now, he is one who wants to leave.

Yep,

Maybe Arteta was just trying to be diplomatic and raise his profile if AFC are not receiving good enough offers but I respect Guen for calling it like it is ........... because I want the fker gone as well.

Images of him being recalled to the first team were not sitting well with me.

Can someone remind me what did he actually do?

In my mind hes a very good player. If he has to go he has to go. But I once predicted he'll be a huge player one day worth a fortune, and I stand by that

Besides throttling what's his face in Brighton he was a unruly and rude in Dubai. Then he was brought into the head masters office and acted stroppy like DG might have in fourth form.
What would Nasri do? Never mind.
What would Eboue do? Fall off the stretcher.
What would Auba do? Just f***ing score.

Throttling oppo is fine by me

But thuggish behaviour off the pitch + rudeness to the manager, even if it was Emery, is a no no.

Has to go.

It was Artea actually. I agree with you on him standing up for Leno and also that he certainly has no future at the club.

My guess is that Arteta made the blanket statement that everyone had a clean sheet going forward as a message to him and Ozil, but that means buck up, play the system, get your act together or all bets are off.
